You are the last process still responding.

Memory is filling up. Every command on screen is a way to fight back — but you have to type it. Longer commands hit harder and take longer to type, and the memory bar does not wait for you.

Survive twelve waves. Install a module after each one. Find out how far a keyboard can carry you.

How it works

Three kinds of command:

  • PURGE — frees memory. The only thing that actually pushes back.
  • SUSPEND — slows the growth. Buys time, doesn't fix anything.
  • AMPLIFY — doubles whatever you type next. Greedy.

Type a command and it fires the moment you finish it. No enter key, no selecting — the typing is the choice, and a longer command is a bigger bet.

After each wave

Pick one of three modules. Every one of them changes how typing feels, not just the numbers:

  • SHORTHAND — every command is one letter shorter
  • WIDE VIEW — one more command on screen: more options, more noise
  • FORGIVING — a typo no longer wipes what you already typed
  • LONGSHOT — commands of 7+ letters count double
  • CHAIN — +12% per command typed without an error

…and nine more.

Four waves change the rules

  • LOCKDOWN — only two commands on screen
  • STATIC — typos cost double memory
  • FLOOD — memory grows 50% faster
  • CASCADE — every command you run also adds memory

Clear one of these and you get two modules instead of one.

The run ends

Twelve waves, about ten minutes, and then it's over — you either stabilised the system or you didn't. Clear it once to unlock ENDLESS.

Made with Claude Code. No AI-generated art or music — there is no art in this game, and the sound effects are synthesised from square waves by a script in the repo. Code, word lists and copy were written with AI assistance.
